Completing your IME

What documents do I bring to my appointment?

It will vary on your applicant category (PR, visitor, student, etc). Please click on this link for a list of documents to bring with you. Please check on the IRCC website that you have the correct documents.

Can I complete IMEs for my entire family under the same appointment?

Yes, you can. Please let the staff know if booking for several family members.

What to expect during your exam

Where can I complete my bloodwork and X-rays

We are next to labs and x-ray services, so you can complete all tests on the same day. Please note estimated x-ray ($70) and blood tests ($28) costs are not included in the IME fee and are subject to change.

Do I need to submit my results to IRCC?

Your results will be submitted directly to IRCC by the Doctor. The clinic may contact you to discuss any abnormal test results. Cases will be submitted by our clinic between 2-10 days from your appointment.

What's next after my case is submitted?

Once your IME is submitted, you are welcome to check with IRCC on any updates on the status of your case. Should IRCC require further information regarding your IME, they will contact you directly for any additional steps.

How do I get a copy of my test results?

Please email the clinic 2 weeks after your exam and we can send you your test results for the standard $10 administrative fee. This fee is not included in the exam fee.
